【250大小姐说展柜】鑫峰展柜厂不打价格战,不做赊账订单,认可质量的客户做不完

看了一个内卷的故事,西方某个小镇有几家餐馆,每天十点开门到下午两点,然后四点,再到晚上9点就结束了,一周就营业五天。因为小镇的人口一直保持平衡,餐馆也一直维持这样的作息规律。


人人都过得挺幸福,可后来搬来一户人家也开了一家餐馆,每天早上六点就开门卖包子馒头,晚上还卖小龙虾和烧烤,一直营业到凌晨两点,周末也继续营业。


你们猜后果怎样?


小镇居民一窝蜂都跑这家餐馆去吃了,其他老板没办法,只能也跟着这家餐馆一样卷起来。可这么一轮下来,你猜猜他们都得到好处了吗?


没有啊,因为小镇的人口没有变化。


每家餐馆的营收也没有增加,但他们的营业时间却从每天八个半小时增长到将近二十个小时。工作时长是以前的几倍,收入却跟以前一样。而且因为餐馆老板和服务员的工作时间变长,他们没时间去看电影喝咖啡了,这些服务行业的生意也变差了。还有小镇上的发电站,虽然餐馆的耗电量增加了,可其他店铺的生意变差了,导致总发电量也下降。


也就是说,餐馆老板们是一顿操作猛如虎,一看战绩0杠5,小镇的经济不但没有变好,反而变差。


所以看起来内卷只是发生在某个行业的事情,可结果是每一个人都受害。


共享单车就是一个例子,是不是很多人99块的押金都退不了啊,还造成了社会资源的极大浪费。还有某打车软件一统天下后,各种大数据杀熟,让咱们有苦说不出。


就连现在想看个庆余年二啊,就算你是VIP会员,想多看一季还要开通个S VIP,套娃,这就是金融逻辑替代产业逻辑的危害。


淮南子奥德标说过,余者或于小利而忘其大害。


社会现象太广,我只能联想到我们自己的展柜厂,尤其口罩期间过后,大部分工厂生意比之前都差了,客户也保守谨慎,甚至珠宝行业巨头周大福都开始大幅裁员。自然我们做珠宝展柜的工厂生意也会差很多,很多厂为了争夺客户,就开始把价格打到地板上,同时又为了自己仅存的一点利润动脑筋吗——粗制滥造、以次充好。


这是我最不齿的,鑫峰展柜厂从上到下一直坚持正心正念做展柜,诚心诚意对客户,尤其我们针对一些高端客户,更加不能做出这种事,反而因为做高端客户而打不了价格战,因为客户有钱,他们就想买好的展柜。


There's a story about a small town in the West, where several restaurants operated with a regular schedule: opening at 10 am, closing at 2 pm, reopening at 4 pm, and finally closing at 9 pm, five days a week. Due to the stable population in the town, the restaurants maintained this schedule and everyone led a content life.


However, a new family moved in and opened a restaurant, which started serving breakfast at 6 am, offering dim sum, and even stayed open late, selling crayfish and barbecue until 2 am, operating even on weekends.


Guess what happened? Residents flocked to this new restaurant, forcing the other owners to follow suit and adapt to the longer hours. But surprisingly, none of them benefited financially. The population of the town remained unchanged, and thus, the revenue of each restaurant didn't increase. Instead, their working hours grew from 8.5 hours a day to nearly 20 hours, with no increase in income. Due to the extended hours, the restaurant owners and staff had less time for leisure activities like watching movies or drinking coffee, resulting in a decline in the business of those service industries. Even the power station in the town, though seeing an increase in electricity consumption from the restaurants, faced a drop in total electricity generation due to the decrease in business from other shops.


In essence, the restaurant owners were engaged in a fierce competition, but their efforts yielded no positive results. The economy of the town did not improve; rather, it worsened.


This phenomenon of "involution" is not just confined to a particular industry; it has adverse effects on everyone.


Take the example of shared bicycles. Many people struggled to get their deposits refunded, and it led to a significant waste of social resources. Another instance is a popular ride-hailing app, which once dominated the market but later resorted to using big data to exploit its users, leaving them with little recourse.


Even in the entertainment industry, we see such practices. For instance, to watch the second season of a popular show like "The Celebration of the Rest of the Year," even VIP members need to upgrade to an S VIP to access additional content. This is a clear example of financial logic replacing industrial logic.


As the saying goes in "Huainanzi," "People often prioritize minor gains while neglecting greater harms."


The social phenomena are vast and diverse, but I can relate them to our display case factory. After the pandemic, most factories faced a decline in business, and customers became more conservative and cautious. Even industry giants like Chow Tai Fook have had to make significant staff reductions. Naturally, our business of manufacturing jewelry display cases has also suffered. Many factories, in order to compete for customers, have slashed prices to the bone while cutting corners on quality to maintain profitability.
