博物馆展柜的玻璃跟其他展柜的玻璃有很大的区别，根据展品的不同相应的会选择不同的玻璃材质。

超白玻璃的厚度选择跟博物馆展柜的大小有关，像立在中央600x600x1600的博物馆展柜，它的厚度8厘就足够了，但是如果是靠墙的博物馆展柜则要根据大小和形状去选择玻璃，像很大的1200x2800的这么大的博物馆展柜它的厚度达到12厘，如果有不锈钢做推拉的玻璃门厚度则10厘就够了，这个得咨询有经验的博物馆展柜设计师，他会根据设计的博物馆展柜的形状尺寸去选择玻璃的厚度。

博物馆展柜里的玻璃很多还具有防爆防弹功能，尤其是价值连城的展品，他不但在玻璃展柜布置有体温感应红外线感应等的报警系统，连博物馆展柜上的玻璃也是经过防爆防弹处理过的，安全性能是首先考虑的问题。

在博物馆里有些展品是需要有一定的湿度的要求的，则相对应的玻璃要经过防雾化处理，避免参观里面的展品都是蒙查查的。

博物馆里的展品各式各样，不但有静态的还有动态的，特别是高科技之类的，他们就有个冲击试验，那么做的玻璃要具有防冲击功能。采用夹胶工艺比较多，简单的说就是两层玻璃，中间用透明胶做缓冲，或者直接弄成真空，有效的防止冲击和起到静音的效果，博物馆不是菜市场，它需要安静，面对有冲击试验这些机械运动所带来的噪音，采用夹胶玻璃是很好的选择，同时它的透光率要达到92%以上，这个要注意一下。

Some exhibits in museums require a certain level of humidity, and the corresponding glass undergoes anti-fogging treatment to prevent the exhibits from appearing blurry.

Museums house a wide variety of exhibits, including both static and dynamic ones, especially those related to high-tech. These exhibits often undergo impact tests, and therefore, the glass used must possess anti-impact properties. The laminated glass process is commonly adopted, which simply means two layers of glass with a transparent adhesive as a buffer, or it can be made into a vacuum to effectively prevent impact and achieve soundproofing effects. Museums are not like markets and require a quiet environment. For exhibits with impact tests and other mechanical movements that generate noise, laminated glass is an excellent choice. Additionally, its light transmittance should reach over 92%, which is a crucial factor to consider.
