下午午睡起来，接到一个电话，是福建的王先生打过来的。他说他在网上找工厂，他是当地一家房地产公司，准备装修一个珠宝批发商场，现在就差展柜要找厂家制作了。

他们对展柜的价格要跟普通档口的价格一样，但是灯具、电源、玻璃、锁具等一系列配件都要国内一线标准。要让展柜保持10年如新，并且最重要的是，只能付30%的定金，而且尾款要再出货后2周内付40%，另外30%要一年后付。

我听到昏倒了。

没想到，有人千方百计的找寻厂家就是为了便宜。但是，只要你想便宜，你已经把路子堵死了，还提出了极其苛刻的付款条件，准备踩坑吧。

我告诉王先生，几百节柜台，数量不少，我们展柜厂的客户都是既要付的起款又要对品质有要求，你是对品质有要求，但是却付不起款，不好意思，我们做不了这笔生意。

世界是公平的，既要、又要的事情是不存在的，如果被你碰上了，应该是个坑。

这同时也提醒我，数量多不代表什么，不要被总金额“吓唬”到，能够平安收到全款，才是本事。何况跟我们合作过的上市公司，全球500强公司，他们都能做到80%定金，出货全款，那普通客户更加可以做到了。

我明白，大公司流程必然是复杂的，掏钱出去肯定也不容易的，但是只要想，就没有做不到的，方法总比困难多嘛。

后面几天王先生又找了我一次，想与我商谈是否还有余地，我问他，付款条件可以改变吗，他回答不能改变，我劝他还是去找我同行吧，我们小门小户厂做不起呀。

其实没有展柜厂会同意这样的条件，如果真的有，那也是传说中的，拿钱跑路，不是正心正念做生意的，随便做个样子。我想着未来的路还很长，我要做好口碑，做好回头客生意，有风险违背工厂原则的订单坚决不能接，走的慢一点又何妨？只要道路是正确的就行。

I told Mr. Wang that there are hundreds of showcase cabinets involved, which is a considerable number. Our showcase cabinet factory's customers are those who can afford to pay and have high-quality requirements. You have quality requirements, but you can't afford to pay. Sorry, we can't do this business.

The world is fair. There's no such thing as wanting both quality and a cheap price. If you encounter such a thing, it's probably a trap.

This also reminds me that a large quantity doesn't mean anything. Don't be intimidated by the total amount. Being able to receive the full payment safely is the real skill. Moreover, we have cooperated with listed companies and Fortune 500 companies, and they can pay 80% as a deposit and the full amount upon delivery. Ordinary customers can definitely do the same.

I understand that the processes of large companies are inevitably complicated, and it's not easy for them to spend money. But if you want to, there's always a way. There are always more solutions than difficulties.

A few days later, Mr. Wang contacted me again to discuss if there was still room for negotiation. I asked him if the payment terms could be changed, and he replied that they couldn't. I advised him to look for my peers instead. Our small factory can't afford to take on such a project.

In fact, no showcase cabinet factory would agree to such terms. If there is one, it's probably a legendary case of someone taking the money and running away, not doing business with integrity.
