我是刚刚从外面散步回来,比较有灵感,想拍一个视频。
这正好呢算是昨天晚上发生了一个事情吧,他兜了一圈,全中国兜了一圈,找了这么多供应商,结果最后还是找回到我们鑫峰展柜工厂。
这个客户是这样的情况,他是做手表维修的生意,有一个手表维修间需要装修,他到我们工厂来看了厂,然后当天下午看厂一个小时之后就给我们转了全款的设计费给我。这真不是我吹牛,来过我们工厂的客户90%都会下订单合作。
付了设计费之后,我就让设计师开始给他做方案,先确定平面图布局,再去确认效果图。其中改了差不多7-8次,改的我也快没有耐心了。
他店铺面积是不大,面积比较小的1个店铺,然后改的次数比较多,商场这样那样的,那我们也没办法,客户也要听商场的,商场要求我们肯定也要给他修改,不然商场审批过不了,这个店铺也做不了。

我就先把价格报给客户了。
其实我觉得这个方法挺好的,有些客户他是比较在意价格的,但找我们工厂的客户,一直知道我们工厂价格高,品质好。他们心里有个数,因为我们工厂做展柜,尤其做手表展柜30多年了,针对国内一些客户。中等的客户,因为你毕竟不是真正做奢侈品的,比较中等的客户,我们的价格算是性价比很高的,必须对标国内一线品牌制作,但是价格只有人家的三分之二。
我们针对一些奢侈品的客户,尤其是国外的是做奢侈品,珠宝、手表类的,价格确实非常高,因为他们的要求严苛,所以现在国外的客户多了之后,国内的那种比较中等的客户虽然也在做,但其实做的不多了,我还是想继续以高端的这种制造啊设计为主,然后我把价格报给了客户,可能有点超出他预期,但是呢其实差价也就是几千块钱,五六千块钱,他就觉得可能超他的预期。
那我就建议他,我说你自己再考虑考虑到底要不要我们做你不要我们做,你可以拿着图纸找别人做也可以,因为他也反正也给我付了设计费嘛,找别人做也无所谓,就是我们现在做订单我是比较佛系,就是觉得能做就做不能做就不能做,因为这个这种订单确实利润是非常微薄的,就是可做可不做无所谓了。
客户觉得你挣了他很多钱,其实啊就是真的是白菜价没挣多少钱,我宁愿就是把心思放在一些外贸客户上,因为他们要求高嘛,对工厂的工艺提升有帮助。
估计找了很多家,然后其中我不知道他找了几家,其中有一家呢跟我关系比较好,他就发给我,就问我,他说“章总他说广东这里有个维修间你做不做?”
因为他是北京的设计公司,专门设计手表维修店铺。老板跟我关系很好,然后他有时候设计好一些柜子,毕竟他没有工厂,他就会找我们帮他做,我只要跟他谈妥了,我就会给他做。
然后他就问我那个商场做不做,广东那个商场的维修间做不做,我一想估计就是同一家,然后我就截了个图发给我的客户,他笑了,他说没想到我找他他也找你们做,哈哈。
所以其实兜了一大圈,全国就是专业针对做手表的工厂不多,就两三家,你找来找去就是两三家,你再找就是中间商了。

I just got back from a walk and felt inspired to shoot a video about an interesting event that happened yesterday evening. A client searched all across China, looking at various suppliers, and ended up choosing us, XinFeng Display Cases Factory.
Here’s the story: The client runs a watch repair business and needed to renovate a watch repair booth. After visiting our factory, he paid the full design fee within an hour. It's not bragging when I say that 90% of clients who visit our factory end up placing an order.
After receiving the design fee, I instructed our designer to create a plan, starting with the floor layout and then moving on to the visual renderings. We went through about seven or eight revisions, which began to test my patience.
The shop space was small, and there were many changes required due to mall regulations. We had no choice but to comply with the mall's requirements, otherwise, the project wouldn't have been approved.
Once the floor plan and visual renderings were approved, I provided the client with a price estimate.
I find this approach beneficial, as some clients are very price-sensitive. However, those who choose our factory know that we offer high-quality products at a higher price point. Our factory has been making display cases, especially watch cases, for over 30 years. For mid-range clients (not true luxury brands), our prices are highly competitive while maintaining the quality of domestic first-tier brands, but at about two-thirds of their cost.
For luxury clients, particularly international ones dealing with jewelry and watches, our prices are indeed higher because of their stringent requirements. As we've taken on more international clients, we've reduced our focus on mid-range domestic projects. Nonetheless, I still prefer to concentrate on high-end manufacturing and design. When I gave the client the price, it might have exceeded his expectations by a few thousand yuan, but the difference wasn’t substantial.
I suggested that he consider his options carefully. He could either proceed with us or take the designs elsewhere. We're quite relaxed about orders these days. If it's not profitable, we’re fine with passing on the project, especially since the margins on this one were quite thin.
Clients often think we make a huge profit, but in reality, the margins are slim. I prefer to focus on foreign trade clients, as their high standards help improve our factory's craftsmanship.
The client must have approached multiple suppliers. One of them, who runs a Beijing-based design firm specializing in watch repair shops, asked me if I was interested in the project. He often collaborates with us when he needs cabinets produced, as he doesn’t have a factory himself.
He asked if we were interested in the repair booth in the Guangdong mall. I suspected it was the same client and sent him a screenshot. The client laughed, saying he didn’t expect both of us to end up recommending the same factory.
In the end, there are only a handful of specialized factories in China that focus on watch repair displays. When you narrow down the search, it often leads to the same few names, or intermediaries.
