不是所有的客户都可以称之为客户,我的老师说过:
“何谓客户”?
首先是要付的起款,其次是要对品质有要求。二者顺序不可颠倒,很多对品质有极高要求的客户却付不起款,那也拉倒,不做。但是付得起款的客户,哪怕你对质量要求的标准一无所知,我们都会按照一线大品牌的制作要求给你完成,从头到尾会把控好,不用客户操心。
一个月前,我就遇到了这样一位客户,是广东省内的客户,这个单可以说是有超过至少3个人找我们工厂询过价,其中有2位还亲自来过我们鑫峰展柜工厂。巧的是,他们要做的那款展柜,正好在我们样板间有一个,是前年的时候做过的。因此订单谈的非常顺利。
客户说这是一个大卖场,批发商场,类似于深圳水贝的感觉,现场装修总包已有公司做,现在就是展柜还没做,一共米数有1570米的柜台,这订单量确实是非常大了,总货值要几百万。
客户非常认可我们的展柜厂和展柜的品质,说白了,也是他信任我们的人。鑫峰展柜厂做了30年,都是做类似于卡地亚珠宝这样的奢侈品展柜,制造质量和设计水平逐步对标国际一线大品牌。来过鑫峰展柜厂的客户10个有9个都会下单。
我们的付款方式也一直从未打破过,不赊账、不比价、不做穷人生意,如果要赊账的,那请不要来找我了,全世界这么多业务,我们只选择不赊账的客户做。再大的订单,再多的利润,一旦赊账,那免谈。
客户把招标书也发给我,一看,定金30%,全部展柜出厂15个工作日后付40%的柜台款,这还不算,甲方验收合格通过,再付剩下的25%,一年后付最后的5%。
我看了一眼,以为看错了,又仔细看了一遍。
心里在翻腾“什么玩意”?已经有一万头草泥马在奔跑了。
然后我跟他说,价格、品质、售后我们都达成一致,但是这个付款方式我不同意,我们厂几十年一直是出厂前要付完全款,定金80%,源头工厂,价位我都可以让利。因为低价、赊账、以次充好卷倒闭的工厂不计其数,之所以我们工厂还在,就是财务这块审核严格。

这冤大头谁要当让谁当,反正我不当。全球那么多客户,展柜订单金额超过百万的,人家还在海外,都是打了80%定金我才给他生产。
Not all customers can be called customers. My teacher once said:
"What is a customer?"
First, they must be able to pay. Second, they must have a demand for quality. The order of these two cannot be reversed. Many customers with extremely high quality requirements cannot afford the payment, and we will not take their orders. However, for customers who can afford the payment, even if they have no knowledge of quality standards, we will complete their orders according to the production requirements of first-tier brands, ensuring thorough control from start to finish, without any worries for the customers.
A month ago, I encountered such a customer from Guangdong province. This order had been inquired about by at least three people from our factory, and two of them had even visited our Xinfeng Display Counter Factory personally. Coincidentally, the display counter they wanted to order had a sample in our showroom, which we had made the previous year. Therefore, the order negotiation was very smooth.
The customer said that it was a large retail market, similar to Shenzhen Shuibei. The overall decoration had already been contracted out to another company, and now only the display counters remained to be made. The total length of the counters was 1570 meters, and the order amount was indeed very large, with a total value of several million.
The customer highly recognized our display counter factory and the quality of our counters. In essence, they trusted us. Our payment terms have always been unwavering. We do not offer credit, do not compete on prices, and do not do business with poor clients. If you want credit, please don't come to us. Among the many businesses worldwide, we only choose clients who do not request credit. No matter how large the order or how much profit it brings, once credit is involved, it's a no-go.
The customer sent me the bidding document, and I noticed that the deposit was 30%. After all the display counters were manufactured and ready for shipment, 40% of the counter payment would be made within 15 working days. Not only that, but an additional 25% would be paid upon the acceptance and approval of the counters by the party, and the remaining 5% would be paid one year later.
I looked at it and thought I had misread it, so I carefully reviewed it again.
My heart was in turmoil, feeling extremely agitated.
Then I told him that we had reached an agreement on price, quality, and after-sales service, but I disagreed with the payment terms. Our factory has always insisted on full payment before shipment, with a deposit of 80%. As a source factory, I can offer concessions on the price. Many factories have closed down due to low prices, offering credit, and substituting inferior products for quality ones. The reason why our factory is still operating is because of our strict financial review.
