国庆1号工厂休息了一天。
对我来说,好像放不放假都一样,每天必须要做的事都得做,只是工厂放假就不生产了,还有我们的供应商也放假了,生产就停摆了。
第一天去了妇幼医院做小排畸B超检查,提前预约的时间,到点了20分钟就做完,检查的医生说没什么问题,我就高高兴兴回家吃晚饭了,只要健康不出异常,就是对我们生活最大的恩赐。
10月2号一大早我就去了深圳看展,上午一个艺术展,下午去看车展,深圳这样的一线城市就是创新的产品多,多看就多学习。
因为现在艺术教育、美的教育对我而言也特别重要,刻意在学习,不仅看书,也看展,这样才能真正把好的设计运用到展柜设计上。
深圳的万象城、万象天地国庆举办了好多活动,街上喜气洋洋,每一处都飘扬着红旗,他们的红旗遍布度比东莞广多了,而且仔细看,红旗还做了小设计,以前红旗是插上去,如果没有风吹,就垂挂下来了。今年加了L型的小型撑杆,这样不仅有旗帜飘扬的动感,又不至于全部垂落,小细节完美。
在万象天地吃了午餐之后,下午去了福田车展,开车过去20分钟,没想到停车停了大约40分钟,会展中心满车位,就在附近的写字楼和商场找停车位,我就绕到皇庭广场进去停,里面也是满满当当,兜了几圈才有个空位,出去的时候停车费50元,果然,节假日在深圳不适合开车,公共交通便捷又便宜,本来地铁30分钟3元钱解决的事。
车展真的太多人了,比起我经常参加的钟表展和珠宝展,真的是人气爆棚啊,各大车企使出浑身解数,表演、主持人、模特,芭蕾舞等等,应接不暇,BYD更是包了一整个展厅都是他的位置,搭建都花了上百个W。我想着10年前我们深圳钟表展的时候其实也有这么热闹,只是近几年人流少了。
在展馆里面,我还接了2个客户电话,都是外省打来的,要做展柜,互联网时代就是好,人不在工厂,依然有客户找你,他们加了我地球号,我照例发了我的资料给他们先了解,都是次日再回复他们细节信息,不报无根的价格,这是我的底线,做展柜和道具,一定要彼此互相信任才可以进行到报价这一步。
以后进步到我可以当客户的导师,那就更好了,不过我自己也要多多努力,不仅要学习工艺,还要学习设计,学习心理学学习商业店铺的陈列,让客户有大品牌的展示效果和高性价比,成为展柜、陈列道具的一线网络品牌。

On October 1st, the factory took a day off.
For me, whether it’s a holiday or not doesn’t make much difference. There are daily tasks that must be done, but with the factory and suppliers on holiday, production comes to a halt.
On the first day, I went to the Women and Children's Hospital for a prenatal ultrasound examination, which I had pre-scheduled. The appointment took only about 20 minutes, and the doctor confirmed that everything was fine. I returned home happily for dinner. Good health is the greatest blessing in our lives.
On October 2nd, I headed to Shenzhen early in the morning to attend exhibitions. In the morning, I visited an art exhibition, and in the afternoon, I went to a car show. Being in a first-tier city like Shenzhen means there are many innovative products to explore, and every visit is an opportunity to learn.
Art education and aesthetic education are particularly important to me now, so I am deliberately studying them. I read books and attend exhibitions to truly apply good design principles to our display cabinets.
During the National Day holiday, the MIXC Mall and OCT Loft in Shenzhen hosted numerous activities. The streets were festive, with red flags fluttering everywhere. The coverage of red flags in Shenzhen was much broader than in Dongguan, and the flags were designed with L-shaped small supports to ensure they remained dynamic and didn’t droop, a perfect attention to detail.
After lunch at OCT Loft, I went to the car show in Futian in the afternoon. The drive took about 20 minutes, but finding a parking spot took around 40 minutes. The convention center was full, so I had to look for parking in nearby office buildings and shopping malls. I eventually found a spot at Huangting Plaza after circling for a while. The parking fee was 50 yuan, confirming that driving in Shenzhen during holidays is not ideal. Public transportation is convenient and affordable; a 30-minute subway ride costs only 3 yuan.
The car show was incredibly crowded. Compared to the watch and jewelry fairs I often attend, the car show was bustling with activity. Car manufacturers put on impressive displays with performances, hosts, models, and ballet dancers. BYD even occupied an entire exhibition hall, with setup costs reaching several hundred thousand yuan. I recalled that the Shenzhen Watch Fair was similarly lively 10 years ago, but the attendance has decreased in recent years.
While at the exhibition, I received two calls from clients from other provinces who wanted to order display cabinets. The internet age is truly convenient; even when I’m not at the factory, clients still find me. They added me on Earth (a social media platform), and I sent them my materials for initial reference. I always follow up with detailed information the next day and never quote prices without a solid basis. Trust is essential in the display cabinet and fixture business, and it is necessary for both parties to trust each other before proceeding to the quotation stage.
My goal is to become a mentor to my clients, but I need to continue improving myself. I must not only study craftsmanship but also design, psychology, and commercial store displays to achieve high-quality, high-value results for my clients. I aim to become a leading online brand in display cabinets and fixtures.
