今天下午算是一个同行,他们在展示架的这个领域行业也做了蛮久的,很有实力,他们是主打一个外贸。虽然自己不做生产,但是他们业务比较多,比较稳,也没有那种大起大落比较平稳的,挺好。
他说他经常在网上关注我,知道我们做高亮光的一些产品,做的非常不错,然后就在网上找到我的电话号码,今天就给我打电话加了我微信,他也算是同行,但是他们不做生产,他们只做业务和贸易,他也是对这个行业比较了解的,然后他就跟我说,说什么现在市场有多卷价格,你也是知道的,你也是感受到的,他是这么跟我说的。
我说我没有,我感受不到。因为我是一直以来就是不卷价格,我跟他说:卷价格的厂都倒闭了,我们一直以来不卷价格,价格就是比较贵的,产品品质要求就是高,所以我不感觉到有什么卷价格,而且我们老客户我们也做了30多年,老客户也比较多真没感受到什么卷不卷。
当然你做的产品如果大家都能做,那肯定很卷嘛,你做高端的怎么会卷呢?
就像LV香奈儿,你有见他们打折吗?那打折不是人山人海,谁都买得起了,他就是因为要不打折就是要区分开所有的消费人群,不是谁都能买他们的包,谁都能买他们的衣服的。所以他们一直不打折。做高端的就没有什么竞争压力,包括我们做展柜是这样,我们也是在逐步的对标一线的奢侈品品牌。
这个社会的财富分布:20%的人掌握了80%的财富,我们这样的展柜小工厂想的应该是怎么为那20%的人提供服务,从他们身上获取报酬,做大事业、打价格战应该是大企业做的事,比如说做牙膏做洗护用品,谁的价格能做得过宝洁公司,做油漆谁的价格能比多乐士油漆低?
所以,小工厂,反而更加应该注重品质和制造质量,而不是跟大公司去打价格战,人家有资本有实力,你咋打的过?
我一直定位要逐步对标国际奢侈品大牌的设计感和制造质量,只是目前还在前进的路上。

He told me about the intense competition on pricing in the current market, which I presume you are aware of as well. However, I responded that I haven't felt it. Since we have always stayed away from price competition, our prices have been relatively high due to the high-quality requirements of our products. Therefore, I don't feel any pressure from price wars, and we've maintained long-term relationships with many old customers over 30 years, truly not feeling much impact from such competition.
Of course, if the product can be easily replicated by others, it will naturally face intense competition. But when operating at a premium level, how could there be much competition? Just like luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Chanel, do you ever see them offering discounts? If they did, it would become accessible to everyone, undermining the exclusivity. Because they never offer discounts, they distinguish themselves from all consumers, ensuring not everyone can afford their bags or clothing. So, they consistently avoid discounts. By positioning ourselves towards premium standards, similar principles apply to our display cabinets.
We should aim to serve the top 20% of wealth holders who control 80% of the wealth in society. Our small factory should consider how to provide services to this group and earn revenue from them. Engaging in large-scale price wars should be left to major enterprises, like those producing toothpaste or personal care items; who could compete with Procter & Gamble on price? Or in paints, who could offer lower prices than Dulux?
Therefore, smaller factories should focus more on quality and manufacturing excellence rather than engaging in price wars with larger companies that have capital and strength. They simply cannot be outcompeted in that arena.
